The content strategist’s responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, and conducting keyword research. You should also be able to analyze user engagement metrics to determine whether the content is well-received or not.
To be successful as a content writer, you should be able to collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative ideas. Ultimately, an outstanding content strategist should demonstrate exceptional content presentation skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
1. Sales Emails
Purpose: To engage potential customers, nurture leads, and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the audience: Research and understand the target audience’s pain points, needs, and preferences.
- Crafting compelling subject lines: Write attention-grabbing subject lines to increase open rates.
- Writing persuasive copy: Create clear, concise, and persuasive content that highlights the product’s or service’s benefits and value propositions.
- Call to Action (CTA): Include strong CTAs that encourage the reader to take the next step, such as making a purchase or scheduling a demo.
- Personalization: Personalize emails to make them relevant to the recipient, using their name and other personalized details.

Purpose: To provide a quick overview of a product, service, or event and encourage immediate action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concise messaging: Deliver the message clearly and concisely, focusing on key benefits and features.
- Visual appeal: Work with designers to create visually appealing layouts that complement the written content.
- Persuasive language: Use persuasive language to grab attention and drive interest.

3. Trade Shows
Purpose: To attract and engage attendees, generate leads, and build brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-event promotion: Write content for promotional materials such as emails, social media posts, and press releases to attract attendees to the booth.
- Booth materials: Create engaging content for banners, brochures, and handouts that effectively communicate the brand’s message and offerings.
- Presentations and demos: Develop scripts or talking points for presentations and product demos that highlight key benefits and solutions.
- Follow-up content: Craft follow-up emails and thank-you notes to nurture leads generated during the trade show.
4. Success Stories
Purpose: To showcase customer satisfaction and the real-world impact of products or services, building credibility and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interviewing clients: Conduct interviews with satisfied customers to gather detailed information about their experience and results.
- Storytelling: Write compelling narratives that highlight the customer’s challenges, the solutions provided, and the positive outcomes achieved.
- Data inclusion: Incorporate relevant data and statistics to support the success story.

5. Blogs
Purpose: To attract and engage readers, establish authority, and drive organic traffic through SEO.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience as a content strategist/marketer
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field
- Proven content strategy and project management experience
- Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
- Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills
- Deep understanding of technology such as IoT, AI, Data science and emerging technologies
- Proven record of delivering requested content on time without compromising writing quality
- Organized and should be able to handle team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Should be familiar with simple graphic design tools (Canva, etc.)
- Must have proof reading skill of written piece of content
- Must be following AP style guide and guide team to follow best practices and approach of content marketing
- Self-motivated and should work under pressure situation
